After careful evaluation, LYGG has decided to conclude operations on the Helsinki-Örebro-Linköping route and halt further discussions around new city launches in Sweden for the time being.
While the triangle route and several other cities in Sweden demonstrated interest, the actual number of travelers was not yet sufficient to support long-term vitality. LYGG’s model is built around known, recurring demand due to the thinner traveler streams of regional travel.
We are grateful for the engagement from local stakeholders and early clients in Sweden and look forward to exploring future opportunities together when the time is right.
