LYGG at SNS2026

News

The LYGG team attended SNS2026 this week in Norwich, joining discussions around the future of the North Sea region and the growing need for better regional connectivity between offshore, maritime, energy, and logistics hubs.

During the event, our founder Roope Kekäläinen also took part in the Pitch, Pint & Prosecco session, presenting LYGG’s demand-driven regional air mobility model and the company’s ongoing development of the North Sea Route.

The discussions throughout the week further reinforced the importance of more efficient direct regional connections across the North Sea region, particularly between second and third tier cities that remain underserved by traditional airline models.

During the event, Roope even drew connections directly onto the map. That reflects the LYGG approach well: where we see recognised demand, we start exploring how regional connectivity can be improved.

A big thank you to the EEEGR, East of England Energy Group team and everyone we had the pleasure of meeting during the event.
