How LYGG Builds Routes?

Insights

LYGG’s way to build routes is unique. Everything begins with a contact from the local community: often from an airport, but sometimes a chamber of commerce or a large corporation.

One thing is always the same: the need and pain for suitable air connections. Lack of connectivity causes loss of time, reduced productivity, higher costs for businesses and barrier for vitality for the regions.

  1. From Pain to Analysis
Our work start with analysis. We use our data-driven analysis tool to evaluate the potential of the area. Based on initial findings, our team identifies which connections seem most potential.
  2. From Travel Patterns and Initial Schedules
Once the decision to proceed is done, we start meeting with local companies to verify and fine-tune schedule requirements for the largest potential users. These lead customers often have a direct influence on the schedule and in many cases, the timetable is tailored specifically to fit their needs.
  3. From Schedule to Serial Tickets
As the schedule starts to reflect how people actually travel, the next step is turning plans into commitment. That’s where our serial ticket model comes in. It’s a simple way for lead clients to secure their travel while giving us known demand so we can choose the right-sized aircraft and build a reliable, long-term connection.
  4. From Commitment to Announcement
After the lead clients sign serial ticket packages with us, the route becomes a reality for the entire local community. That’s when we announce the route and initial schedule, which we continue to refine together with clients.
  5. From a Route to Source of Vitality
Every route we open gives time back to the people, productivity and cost savings to the companies and vitality for the regions. Our purpose is to multiple this.

From City-Pairs to Multi-City Approach

Our process is not limited to connect a region to another. At the same time, we work with three or more additional cities to build a broader market for the same route.

By developing routes across multiple cities simultaneously, we lower the pressure for high demand for each area, increasing frequency, capacity, and available destinations, and creating a sustainable regional air mobility network that benefits everyone in the regions.

It’s about time to connect the regions.
